You will be working in the central warehouse of our client, one of a 13 reputable hardware stores, with 51 branches throughout the Netherlands.
The central warehouse is located in Moerdijk. This is not only where the products arrive, but also where they are processed and/or stored. From the warehouse, the products go back to one of our branches, or the customer.

Your Work Environment:
You’ll be working in a well-organized warehouse, where quality and accuracy are key. Responsibilities:
As an order picker you are responsible for processing orders on the roller conveyor. Accuracy and cleanliness are key. The first few days you will accompany one of our regular employees, who will teach you all the tricks of the trade, so no worries, you will be fine. All you need to bring along is good commitment and good will!
Your duties:
As an order pick(st)er you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Order picking, the scanner is your best workmate besides your colleague;
- Preparing orders for our branches and the customer (e.g. self-employed workers and construction companies);
- Processing incoming goods properly and neatly;
- Thinking along about all activities within the roller conveyor area.
About you:
Polvo's warehouse is open Monday to Friday from 6am to 8pm. Saturday mornings are also sometimes worked by a small shift. You don't mind being assigned flexibly, according to a schedule.
When things are quiet, you like to chill with your colleagues. But when it is a bit busier, you like to give your all with 110%. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following statements:
- You know how to get to work. You like working with your hands and doing physical work.
- You have relevant logistics experience.
- You are preferably available full-time.
- You are a team player.
- You value working safely and neatly.
What do we ask:
In order to be successful in this position you need to:
- Speak and read English.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Work with accuracy and have basic counting skills.
- Commit to the company's quality standards, especially during the 6-week induction.
- Experience with order picking and scanners is a plus, but not required.
What we offer?

In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits:
- €14.63/hour for experienced order pickers.
- €14.08/hour for entry-level order pickers, with the opportunity for regular pay increases.
- An annual summer bonus.
- Regular wage increases based on experience (CAO Technische Groothandel).
Hourly Wage Breakdown:
- 21 years +: €14.08 – €14.63 (depending on experience)
- Certified man-up truck (HLO) drivers can receive a higher wage.
Additional Information:
On your first day, you will be asked to sign forms related to company regulations, hazardous materials, and a €20 deposit for your locker key, tag, and work gear. Breaks are 1 hour, split into two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break.
