Responsibilities
Pollux has a large base of houses and hotels for our temporary workers. As a handyman you will be part of the housing department. Your supervisor will inform you daily of any faults and breakdowns reported by the residents, what maintenance work needs to be carried out and what equipment needs to be installed.
It is your responsibility as a handyman to ensure that the housing locations meet all SNF standards and requirements.
For ongoing matters, landlords know where to find you and you are the point of contact for colleagues and temps with questions about accommodation. If there are breakdowns or complaints, you make sure they are dealt with properly.
As a handyman you work every day from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. However, you must be aware that in the event of a major breakdown you will be asked to help out after working hours as well.
