Good and reliable transportation from your living quarters to work is important to start your workday relaxed. Do you work through Pollux? Then, where necessary, we can provide appropriate transportation to and from your work location.

Appropriate transportation to work
To get to work on time and safely, good transportation is essential. We can help you with that. We have company bicycles and an extensive fleet of modern and well-maintained cars for 4 to 9 people. We use these for transportation between your home and work location.
Do you live close to work? Then you can use a Pollux bike for distances that can be reached within 30 minutes. If the distance is longer or you travel together with colleagues, we will use cars or group transportation.
Do you have a valid driving license for the Netherlands and are you willing to drive a Pollux car with colleagues? Then you will receive a daily allowance for this. For the driver the travel time is seen as working time. This way we appreciate your commitment and responsibility.
Our drivers will make sure everyone arrives at work safely and on time, and will also take you to a doctor’s office or city hall if necessary.
The type of transportation depends on the distance between your living space and your workplace. We always look for a solution that fits your situation. So you can focus on your work, without worrying about how to get there.

Whether you can use transportation organized by Pollux depends on your position, work location and place of residence. We are happy to find this out for you. Contact us and together we will discuss what is possible in your situation.
Housing & transportation
Good housing is important when you work. We offer you a safe, clean place to relax and recover after a day’s work.
We have our own locations available in Nispen (near Roosendaal), Bergen op Zoom and Ossendrecht. Our own team provides maintenance, supervision and safety. In Nispen there are studios with their own kitchen and toilet. At other locations you share facilities such as kitchen and bathroom with colleagues.
We also rent housing from reliable parties who understand what you need. All locations meet SNF certification requirements.
For housing through Pollux, you enter into a separate residence agreement. This is separate from your employment contract. As a result, the rent is usually not deducted from your salary and you have sufficient time to arrange other housing when your job ends.
The cost of housing through Pollux depends on the location where you are staying. Rent is always within the limits of applicable laws and regulations.
At Pollux, you receive your full salary each week and we also charge your housing costs separately each week. This is not automatically deducted from your salary in most cases. Therefore, your employment contract and your rental contract are separate. Should your employment contract be terminated, you will have sufficient time to look for another job and/or place to live.
All Pollux housing meets the requirements of SNF certification. That means sites are inspected for quality, safety and livability. You live in a clean and safe environment where you can rest after your workday.

- Is the distance greater? Then you can travel together with colleagues in a Pollux car.

If you want to make a living in the Netherlands with your family, this is certainly possible. However, you should keep in mind that the available housing is usually not suitable for families. In that case, you arrange your own housing and transportation. You can get support in finding a place to live, but suitable family housing is scarce in the Netherlands.
